- The method is correlated with ultracentrifugation method.
- How samples should be stored until the shipping?
- Please keep samples at -80C. Although one freeze-thaw cycle is acceptable, the repeated cycles will affect the data (see slide 27).
- Does hemolysis affect the results?
- A clear peak appears for hemolysis after HDL and the peak usually does not affect the calculation of HDL data.
- Is there any requirement for feeding animals or subjects?
- The method has no particular requirement for the way of feeding. It depends on the study.
- Is there any validation data such as CV data and reproducibility?
- Various validation data are available.
